Today I enjoyed meeting with Dr Alon Liel (formerly the Israel Ambassador to South Africa, and Permanent Secretary of the Israeli Foreign Ministry under Labour PM Ehud Barak) and Prof. Yossi Mekelberg, (a professor of international relations, and an associate fellow of Chatham House) to discuss a two state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian question.
