I’m sure you will have seen the breaking updates on the on-going Covid-19 outbreak. The health and wellbeing of my constituents and staff is paramount and following the recent announcements on self-isolating and in the interest of reducing the spread of the virus, it has been necessary to cancel my MSP surgeries until further notice.
If you need to contact myself, or my office, please use any of the options at the foot of this message. For safety reasons I am asking constituents not to turn up at our offices in case we are closed and working from home; this is following the advice that everyone should stop non-essential contact and avoid social venues.
My staff and I will still be working hard to ensure that our community receives support within our capacity and we ask that if you or someone you know is self-isolating or finding it difficult in obtaining food and or other amenities, please, please get in touch and we will do the best we can to assist you.
This is a very uncertain and challenging time for everyone and I know people are anxious so thanks in advance for all the support you are giving to each other.
Thank you to everyone for your understanding and co-operation during this difficult time.
