Bill Kidd MSP - Thank you for your vote

This past election was one of the most important elections for Scotland, with our health services, our trade relations, and our position in the European Union hanging in the balance. Given this importance, I am pleased that the Scottish people have chosen to put their trust in the SNP to govern once again. I am especially honoured to have been chosen to represent the people of Anniesland and thank each and every person who has supported my journey – from my campaign team that worked day and night to the individuals that turned out to vote on my behalf on May 5th. In 2011 I had been voted in as a MSP by only 7 votes and this year I received 52% of the total votes. This difference illustrates that the people of Anniesland trust me to represent their needs at the constituency and Parliament level, and I intend to work tirelessly to ensure that these needs are met. Over the next five years, I will continue to hold surgeries in all the communities across Glasgow Anniesland to listen to people’s issues, whether these are health, employment, trade union, environmental, housing or policing matters. In the Scottish Parliament, I hope to continue to serve in my role as the Government’s chief whip and help deliver a program for government which benefits all the people of Scotland. Lastly, I will continue to work hard to achieve nuclear disarmament in Scotland and across the world within the Scottish Parliament and within my role as co-chair of an international parliamentary organisation (PNND).

I am grateful for this opportunity to work on behalf of all the people of Anniesland, and thank you once again for supporting me and trusting me to represent you.

Yours sincerely,

Bill Kidd MSP
