That the Parliament notes that the Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit at Gartnavel Royal Hospital in Glasgow is the first of its kind in Scotland to receive accreditation by the Royal College of Psychiatrists for its care of acutely mentally-ill patients and that the hospital has gained the Quality Network for Psychiatric Intensive Unit accreditation for demonstrating best practice and excellence in care, and recognises the high levels of professionalism and caring demonstrated by all of the all staff at Gartnavel.
