Motion S5M-10828: Commending Glasgow Surgeon

That the Parliament commends the anonymous Glasgow Anniesland surgeon who walked eight miles from Anniesland Cross to Paisley on 1 March 2018 to operate on a patient with bowel cancer; recognises that this surgeon braved the foot-deep snow and freezing conditions to save the life of her patient; thanks Dr Andy Renwick from Royal Alexandra Hospital for calling attention to his colleague’s dedication and commitment on BBC Radio Scotland, and also thanks all the dedicated professionals in the NHS and emergency services for their services during the “Beast from the East”.
