That the Parliament congratulates the charitable trust, Symphony of Dreams, on its 17th birthday, which was marked on 17 May 2017; understands that it has helped 195 musical dreams become a reality for 2,333 children and young adults in Glasgow with major health issues, including meeting pop stars such as KT Tunstall and Ronan Keating, and many X Factor finalists; believes that this would not have been possible without the funding of Young Start and Santander and the hard work of its manager, LA McConnell; notes the therapeutic impact of the wider work achieved by the trust in creating musical libraries and numerous workshops that have allowed the young people to develop musical skills and realise their potential, and looks forward to it making even more musical dreams come true.
