That the Parliament congratulates the pupils of Jordanhill School in Glasgow who have recently raised what it considers a remarkable sum of £13,000 for COPE Scotland, a charity that provides mental health services that focus on the needs of local people and communities and tries to empower people individually and collectively to make positive changes to their lives; understands that some students were as young as P4 who raised £71 by selling their handmade bangles; recognises the importance of students engaging with the charity to learn about their work in the community and to be educated about mental health issues, and wishes the pupils, teachers, parents and staff of Jordanhill School and the staff, volunteers and everyone connected with COPE Scotland every continued success and the very best for the future.
